We've recently decided to update our blog layout. Starting from this post each blog will feature the updated structure. Hopefully you all like it!

The Haptic Rebrand

We've worked with Haptic for the past 8-9 months. Together with the team we've built their new visual identity.

The collaboration was great and we truly appreciate the assistance that they've given us throughout the process. They've been very thoughtful for each phase and have helped us properly understand the gaming & recruitment world.

Haptic is a close-knit agency is passionate about all things gaming. They know that behind every game is an exceptional team of people.

They were created with one goal in mind: to build a community of talented game makers in a people-first environment that fosters excellence, creativity, and freedom for all of our partners.

Haptic has an expert team of consultants with deep knowledge in each discipline of the video game industry. Here to level up your gaming career, pairing the greatest talent with the greatest studios.

A bit about Haptic

Every little or large detail has thoroughly been looked at, from the fun illustrations, social media layouts, printed assets, motion graphics and general brand direction. We were certain on the feel and voice we wanted to showcase to the world.

Introducing to you, Haptic and Hapti (their little character).

We've made sure that every single detail is taken care of, that is why we've started from the typography. Roboto Mono felt too techy and that was not the main goal of the rebrand. Platform was super suitable and it felt more like home. That was our new type.

Starting from the details

Same treatment can be said for the colours. While the old colours looked great they did need a bit of spice added to it. We've taken them and modified them heavily. Saturated, amplified, game-ified.

Our new palette was looking great! We had 3 main colours with its sub-palettes. A colour combination ready to tackle any gaming task.

After countless experiments, tests, trials, presentations and feedback from the Haptic team - we've finally hit gold. Our symbol came to life after some tries and we could not be happier.

Hapti was born and he was ready to conquer the gaming industry, one game at a time. A timeless and memorable little character.

How it all came to life.

A custom wordmark was built for Haptic, we wanted the mark to have a geometric feel but not too much - just the right amount.

The mark has been kept lowercase fully to match the feel of our character. With this complete, the Haptic logo was now ready.

The brand would not be complete without some fun illustrations added to it. We decided to have some fun here and craft quite a few.

With everything being crafted and made ready for the world to see, Haptic was ready to conquer and move on with the gaming journey.

All the brand elements were looking good, we're happy, the Haptic team is happy and like that we've decided to call the rebrand a success.

People loved Hapti from the moment they started dropping teasers and especially once they revealed the brand to their community.

Haptic is ready to conquer.

For the last part of the rebrand, we've helped the team build their new website. It was the cherry on top of the cake and it made sure that the rebrand stays consistent everywhere and at all times.

With the website done, the project has been completed. We thank the Haptic team for their support and help throughout the project - they've been amazing.

We hope that you enjoy our little blog as it took us quite some time to publish this, but it is finally here and we'll make sure to release blogs more often.
